| This is a 5 star hotel and they treat you like it. I don't usually stay in this fancy of a hotel but I had to. Wow, I'm really missing out when I stay at other places. The chambermaid even folded my used underwear. My wife won't even touch those. |

| Hotel is a little older but rooms are nicely maintained, updated. Service is on par of what you'd expect at this class and price range. However, we stayed here on a Friday and Saturday night when they have a live band in the bar. The music resonates upwards out of the western side of the hotel and plays well into the wee hours of the morning. We were originally on the fourth floor facing west, moved up to the eighth floor at 1am and could still hear the band a bit. Loud live music band is fine if you're a bar downtown, but you don't expect or desire it for a hotel like this. |

| This hotel is five star all the way! The attention to detail they put in everything is unparalleled. I loved every minute of our stay. I will say, the food is quite pricey and there is many restaurants nearby. Highly recommended! Looking forward to our next stay! |

| This hidden gem is outstanding in every last detail. The service was impeccable, the room was clean and nicely appointed, and the bar was right out of a1930's movie. Nothing but good things to say. This place was classy. |

| We actually were there for 12 hrs., maybe-- we checked in late (10pm), went straight to bed after a long day of travel & college graduation festivities. Everything was so well appointed, floral arrangements & decor were gorgeous. The best thing of all was the friendliness/sincerity of the staff-- they made us feel like the most important thing was our comfort & convenience, which is just what you want. Next time of course we'd like to enjoy the amenities. The location was perfect for where our acitivities were, which was one of our main considerations. Nothing could be improved on! |

| The service at the St. Regis Houston was excellent. Everyone I dealt with was professional, courteous, and accommodating. The hotel bar had a cheesy band that I wish were not playing (it was a Friday night). When the band stopped playing for their break, they piped in this terrible 70s disco music. It threw off the elegance of the evening. Other than that, the hotel was great.
Also, it's old. It is well maintained, but it is an old place. So, if you would like a more modern decor, this isn't the place for you. |
